Fabric/Materials

This is a bustier dress in a dusty rose color. The color strikes me as a cross between a tan and pink. The cups are lightly padded and have an under wire. The body is made up of a soft mesh and then soft lace makes up the bottom portion. The body fabric is 89% nylon and 11% spandex; the lace is 93% nylon and 7% spandex. The cups are also adorned with the same lace. The middle of the back is open and satin ribbon cross laces up the back through medium sized D rings to provide an intricate detail. This piece has garters that are not removable and comes with a mesh thong and dyed to match thigh hi's.

How it wears

The under wire in the cups provides a little bit of padding, but not in a way that really provides support as a bra would do. Instead it adds definition and gives a little bit of lift. There are seams that run down either side of the torso and connect with the garters at the bottom. The shoulder straps are adjustable and it is possible to tighten it slightly by using the lacing in the back, but that is more for looks rather than function, unlike a corset's lacing. The garters are also adjustable.

The lace begins at the waist and lower back and wraps all the way around. With the little mesh ruffle at the bottom, it should cover the wearer's rear. It ended at the top of my thighs and just under my rear. This position allows the wearer to have the right length for the use of the garters. I have a bit of a shorter torso, so I had a bit more fabric in the garter laces, but then again, I like to wear my stockings higher too. The mesh and lace hugs the body nicely and is very comfortable and moves with the wearer. The satin ribbon and lacing details up the back is very sexy. The lacing in the back should not hang too loose or be too tight; it should draw the fabric nicely across the back.

The stockings are dyed to match the color of the bustier, which when on, almost look nude. They are not of the highest quality and do not have the silicone at the top to help keep them in place, but they do the trick. Most of the time they will get peeled of slowly or will be worn during, so they really don't have to stay in place for long :. The thong is made of the same mesh, has skinny side strings and a narrow seat, which then moves into a medium sized triangle at the rear. Since the bottom portion of the dress is sheer, you can just see the panties underneath.

Recommendations

As with any use of garters, they are a little tricky unless you wear them all the time and are use to the "quirkiness" of them. I myself still stumble around with them most of the time, but with a little persistence it can be done. The trick is to have slack in the garment and garter straps when attempting to hook in the stockings. Have your stockings in place on your legs and lengthen the garter straps to the longest they will go. When doing this, you will also be bent over slightly, which will allow the garment to not be taught. I found it easier to hook in the back ones first and then work on the front ones. Then you can adjust your straps/garment as needed once they are hooked.

The trick is to keep the stockings from bunching or rolling at the place where you want to hook on the garters and put a thin layer over the rubber "knob" on the garter strap. Then while holding on to the stocking and knob, place that knob in the wider space of the receiving hook and then slide it down into the smaller space. This will tighten the hose around the rubber knob and keep it in place. I find that trying to get the "knob" into the smaller space while keeping the stocking wrapped around it is the tricky part. I just made sure I pressed firmly on the knob while in the larger space and while I was trying to slide it into the smaller space. I love the unique color and design of this piece. Some don't like the color pink because it is too "girly"; but this is a nice soft color and the cut is eye catching. The lace accents the skirting and the ribbon detail up the back is very intricate and elegant. Please don't let the idea of garters intimidate you. Most men actually prefer there women to wear garters and stockings as it is one, of many, of their turn on's. This could be a nice piece to wear for your wedding night, Valentine's Day, or just when you want to turn up the heat a bit.

Special care instructions

The panties can be machine-washed and line dried. The bustier should be hand washed and then laid flat to dry with minimal twisting so that it keeps it's shape. The hose are fairly delicate material, so they should definitely be hand washed and hung to dry to keep from snagging and loosing its size.
