This satin robe is perfect over any lingerie you want to keep as a secret, but matches perfectly with red satin chemise. It's simple yet elegant, with its soft satin sheen and comfortable fit. The robe ties at the inside of the hip and then has a wide satin tie to tie around your waist. The robe is long enough to cover the chemise if the wearer chooses to wear them together. It does not come with a panty. Sizes: S/M, L/XL. Color: Red, Black.

Fabric/Materials

This is a satin robe made of 100% polyester. The satin material is not stretchy, but is generous in its flow. It is very comfortable to wear over the matching chemise, with one of your other favorite pieces, or alone.

How it wears

The fabric is very silky next to your skin. It glides and shimmies as you walk and is very comfortable. Since the robe covers two sizes, small/medium in this case, it is fairly roomy, yet is still able to flatter and follow the wearer's curves. The hem falls at about mid-thigh and is slightly longer than the chemise. The sleeves are ¾ in length and are also very roomy. With the material being silky, I found I had to tie the outer belt in a bow or double knot to keep it from coming untied.

Recommendations

This robe is very sophisticated and can be worn over the chemise or alone. If it's worn over the chemise, it will generally disguise the details of the gown and can keep the wearer comfortable (and warm) while awaiting her lover to come home. If it is worn alone, what a surprise the lover will find upon "unwrapping" the gift. Either way is a winner!

Special care instructions

Since the material is made of polyester, it may wrinkle easily; and since I have to send it in a box, it is sure to have creases. The manufacturer tag recommends washing it on warm with like colors, no bleach, drying it warm and removing it promptly. I personally wouldn't wash it on warm, just so that it keeps its vibrant color, but cold water would work just as well. With its capacity to wrinkle, I would recommend a light steaming, ironing or hanging it in the bathroom while you are taking a hot shower to take the creases out. The new wrinkle relaxing sprays should do nicely as well, but lightly mist it on the inside of the fabric since the outside has a glossy finish.
