This barely-there crochet chemise is definitely not something your grandma would have knitted! The under wire cups are semi-supportive and has a bra-like closure at the back, consisting of 3 adjustable settings. The soft, stretchy, and comfortable netting has larger spaces than most mesh or fishnet style materials, resulting in an awesome design and fit. The pattern in the crochet is varied consisting of hearts, diamonds, circles, and then ending in a jagged hem embellished with fringe. It has stretchy, adjustable shoulder straps and comes with a matching crochet thong. Sizes: S, M, L, XL. Color: Black (only).

Fabric/Materials

The material is a crochet-type mesh with fairly large spacing. It is 94% nylon and 6% spandex. The mesh is soft and hugs the body. The fringe brushing across the tops of the thighs is super sensual.

How it wears

This is hands down, one of my favorite pieces. It fits like a glove. I love the way the mesh hugs the body and the way it has many different aspects to it that are eye catching. The pattern in the crochet is varied consisting of hearts in the bodice, diamonds across the abs and hips and then ending in a jagged hem embellished with fringe. The bodice has under wire that gently cups the breasts. There is a gentle curve to the top cut with a small bow and a faux pearl at the center. The actual skirt hem ends at the tops of the thighs, but then fringe is longer and cascades to the mid thigh.

At the back, the bodice has a bra-like hook and eye closure with 3 adjustable settings. There is a keyhole cut out at the back connecting the body and the top. The net skirting ends and the fringe begins about mid-cheek, above the rear. The panty is a thong with stretchy skinny sides and crochet mesh at the front and rear panel. A faux pearl adorns the front panel as well.

Recommendations

Even though this chemise is fitted and should hug the body, with only 6% spandex, it doesn't have a whole lot of give to it. I would recommend this piece for those who fit within the manufacturer's size requirements for items with an under wire. I love the random patterns and the way that it has many stunning aspects. Plus there is something about fringe that just compels me to shimmy around the house.

Special care instructions

The manufacturer tag indicates that you can wash these pieces on warm on a gentle cycle with no bleach and to tumble dry low, removing it promptly. The crochet mesh is so delicate, I would toss those instructions out the window and only wash this piece by hand in gentle detergent, and lay it flat to dry. Since it is also semi-stretchy, I would not want it to get pulled out of shape or snagged in the wash. It is one of my favorite pieces and I would care for it as such.
