Calculating your bra size:

1) Measure around your rib cage just beneath your breasts. Make sure the tape is level and parallel to the floor. (If you're in between sizes, the smaller band will usually offer better support)
2) Measure around the bust at the fullest point while wearing an unpadded bra. Each inch of difference between this measurement and your band size equals a cup size. (1"=A cup, 2"=B cup, etc)

Calculating your panty size:

1) Measure around your hips at the fullest point

I measured 31/32" rib cage and 34" bust, which would calculate to be a 34 B bra size. The 34 B bra fit and gave support, but the 36 B was more comfortable to me.
